For people who are homebound, have difficulty traveling to a dentist, or prefer concierge dental services at a location convenient for them, our team uses state-of-the-art mobile dental technologies to provide preventative, restorative, and emergency care in the comfort and safety of the patient’s home.

By visiting patients in a familiar setting, they experience less anxiety and disruption of their daily routines. Those with memory or cognitive disabilities are often better able to cooperate with the dentist.
Our unique approach extends beyond the home, as some dental procedures cannot be completed in this setting due to the complexity of treatment, the patient’s medical condition(s), or safety considerations. Our team is on staff at several local hospitals where treatment can be provided while the patient is asleep.

For general practice patients, we are on call 24/7/365 and provide same-day response to dental emergencies.

Patient Experience

House Call Dentists’ patient-centered philosophy and use of advanced mobile technologies enable us to provide patients with the most convenient and accessible dental care.

Our team will answer questions and address any concerns to make certain patients and caregivers are comfortable at all times. The attending dentist will provide a comprehensive care plan tailored to the patient’s individual circumstances. Palliative care will resolve any emergencies, eliminating discomfort and removing infection. Restorative care will improve chewing and eating and can also enhance aesthetics.

Whether treating an adult with Alzheimer’s disease, a child with Autism, or a patient with an unexpected weekend or late-night emergency, we understand the challenges our patients face and take the time to individualize care and deliver it with compassion.

Integrated Care

We collaborate with the referring dentist(s) or primary care physician(s), as well as any necessary specialists, to determine the best treatment and location for each patient. With permission, we’ll also involve family members, caregivers, or other health care providers in decisions regarding treatment. We believe that communication and partnership is always in the best interest of the patient’s dental care and general well-being.

Care Coordination

Our dedicated Care Coordinator serves as the patient and decision maker’s primary point of contact, providing them with personalized assistance including treatment, scheduling, financial arrangements, coordination with providers, care managers, referrals, and more.

What to expect on a house call visit

The initial house call visit will take about one hour; however, our dentist will spend as much time as needed to make certain that the patient, care giver, or decision maker is comfortable and that any concerns are thoroughly addressed.

The House Call dentist will conduct a visual examination and take diagnostic photographs of the patient’s mouth.

We will take the necessary x-rays using our state-of-the-art portable x-ray machine and x-ray shield that minimizes radiation exposure. The images can be immediately reviewed on our laptop.

Our dentist will consult with the decision maker regarding the findings, review treatment options, and create a plan.

If needed, we will provide emergency care to quickly eliminate any discomfort.

In-home treatment can include cleanings, dentures, fillings, crowns, and extractions or palliative care.

At the conclusion of the visit, our team will provide education for the patient and family/caregivers as needed.

If further treatment is required, the designated Care Coordinator will contact the caregiver to schedule the patient’s next appointment.
